Any subversion experts out there?

Hi guys,

I want to setup a system in my subversion repository where I have a set 
of common modules from which only a subset will be used to create some 
software project build. Ideally, I would setup a project in the top 
level directory of the subversion repository, and then use a softlink 
like concept where I link various modules. Thus when I do an svn ls 
http://repository.net/repository/MySubProject, I would get a listing of 
the submodule set. Then if I go do a checkout, I'll pull out the top 
level code from the various modules. Does this make any sense? I don't 
want to do an svn copy because that in effect causes a branch in the 
code, which is not what I want.
