Wierd VMWare behavior

Actually, VMWare is used in our office because our product runs on
Linux and the company laptops run Windows XP. My personal Laptop runs
Ubunto and I loaded VMWare Server with a Windows XP guest.  The only
difference between running at home and at work is essentially the
network and the altitude. At work we are on the 4th floor in a
reasonably high location where at home, I'm in the basement in a fairly
low area, but I'm not flying a Huey so I don't think air density has
much to do with it.=20
