Wierd VMWare behavior

one is 192.168.248. and the other is 192.168.142. with a class C
netmask.
Again, I fail to see why this would cause VMWare to report a permission
error. I certainly can see other errors.=20

One test I might do tomorrow is to turn off networking to the VM. I may
also bring my laptop to work without shutting it down.=20
