Digest guy here:

I subscribe to a bunch of forums like this and I work in  'High
Throughput' environment. I don't save all of the posts either, I read
the daily digests and archive the juicy bits.

I hope that sheds some light on a different method for you.

Perhaps tomorrow someone who reads in digest mode will take
the time to tell me why they prefer it.

(I'm not advocating that BLU turn it off. I just want to know
why people choose it -- 20%, apparently -- since it has never
made sense to me.)
