Moving from Centos to Fedora 9

Just as a follow up, after backing up everything to an external drive to
be safe, I installed Fedora 9. At first things worked well, but
somewhere a long the line things got very screwed up and for some reason
some setting I had on the desktop caused the window manager to exit. I
also got some kind of a kernel error than does not appear in dmesg.
Normally I would trouble shoot, but I was in a hurry so I simply
reinstalled. The second installation went well, but when I tried to log
into my user, it hung both in GNome and KDE. I delete my user, and
created an empty user for myself and then simply moved everything from
my home directory back in. This was more of a case where I screwed
something up. I've been there before with KDE on SuSE. At the current
time, I am happy with Fedora 9.
