KDE vs. GNOME session management

No, I use XFCE.

I use XFCE because it provides most of the advantages of GNOME,
including being based on the GTK libraries, without most of the
cruft. It generally uses less memory and gets in my way less
than GNOME does.

Enlightenment. Enlightenment was once the heaviest of all
environments, but is now on the light side. E17 is the version
that has been perpetually in development for... maybe ten years
now? It's very pretty.
