T60 ... and no Windows (too)

For better or worse, I obtained the T60 with no Windows (even the disks), either.
There is no set of discs for a Windows restoration.

At the time with this T60 entered my life,
it had an Ubuntu distro, but the wireless and sound did not work;
this is one of the reasons that I have been [at irregular intervals]
that I have been trying different distributions.
