Laptops and hardware virtualization

I am a fan of Virtualbox. From the desktop perspective it works very
well and is easy to configure. The downside is that the kernel module is
not always present after a kernel update, so you have to compile it
(takes about 1 minute to compile and load the module, no reboot), in
contrast, KVM is available in every recent kernel.
