i got Kingston 128G SSD SATA II 2.5" from Newegg for under $300 and
60G OCX on sale under $200.

Was indeed drop in fit for for Thinkpad T60. Wife not entire.y happy
with no swap.

Should i down convert EXT4 to 3 or 2 when i resize to make a swap on
the SSD? As in, is a journalling f/s on modern big ssd a problem?

(Intel or WD server grade are likely pricier. not surprised Apple
build price not tracking NewEgg.)

thanks for accelerometer notes? i will enable that on the other thinkpads.
