Distributing Linux Software

We build and bundle our (very expensive) product with all the libraries,
scripts and executables needed to run our product. We also specify a
specific release of the OS, such as RHEL 5.2. We routinely build on
Solaris, AIX, and RHEL 32 and 64 bit.
