I hadn't heard of them, but I also can't connect to their .us site. Is
there another address/problem? I am considering a dedicated server too,
to replace various VPSes I have, which is kind of going backwards as I
used to have dedicated hardware colo'd in London, but when wanting to
run more than a certain number of VMs, it starts to make sense again.

There does seem to be a shortage of mom-and-pop type colo like you get
in the UK. E.g. dmesg.printk.net is hosted with a cool colo company that
is still small, and there are lots of others who run small groups with
great connectivity in Telehouse, etc. Here, really it seems the default
is to hand over way too much to some $corporation many miles away with
little or no hope you'll ever get to visit/install/touch your machine.
