Diagnosing connection issue

I am becoming convinced that the problem is /not/ the modem, router, NIC, or cables, but possibly an issue affecting both SeaMonkey and Firefox which is not dependent on any particular operating system.


I installed Chromium and have been using it for a good 20 minutes now, no connection issues yet...
