Whew, thank goodness. Now I'll see if I can get to the btrfs mailing list. ;-)

Nothing against John or Peter, but there's such a thing as change management. If it was easy to put it back up quickly and safely, but it needs to be overhauled to enhance functionality, then the thing to do is put it back up quickly, and plan the overhaul in such a way that it doesn't entail a month of downtime.

Well, maybe I'm looking in the wrong place... When I google for btrfs, it brings me to the now-unused http://oss.oracle.com/projects/btrfs/
>From there, is a link to mailing lists, which says "For more details on the new location, please visit: http://btrfs.wiki.kernel.org/index.php/Btrfs_mailing_list "

But both btrfs.wiki.kernel.org and wiki.kernel.org are unresponsive...

When I search for vger btrfs, I find linux-btrfs mailing list, which I'm already on. Maybe that's all there is - But the discussions on linux-btrfs at vger are almost entirely developer speak. I was looking for something like... A community which has separated btrfs-users, btrfs-devel, btrfs-announce, etc. Maybe no such thing exists...
