Hsuan-Yeh,

Not that its is really that important to this conversation, but I had
never heard any suggestion before that Dr. King was a lawyer. A
quick search for biographical information shows no signs that he went
to law school or ever passed the bar in any state. If I've somehow
overlooked evidence for this statement, I would be happy to look at
additional evidence to back up this statement.

For now though, I'm much less inclined to bother to check the veracity
of any of the rest of the things you say with which I disagree. Now,
I doubt that you are going to change my mind anyway; but you might
want to consider the possible effects of such apparent misstatements
on others who might have been more willing to consider your opinions.
I say this because I actually want to hear the best possible, well
researched and reasoned opposing arguments that I can find.

Thanks,
Bill Bogstad

P.S. I'm not above pointing out your apparent error to the rest of
this list as part of my attempt to discredit your point of view. This
may, of course, back fire as maybe I'm wrong and I'll end up looking
like an idiot. If it does, at least I'll have learned something.
