[Discuss] Disabling UEFI and dual booting Linux and Windows

I'm not really clear on the point you're trying to make in the context of this thread. 
Jerry is basically saying we need to be knowledgeable about UEFI for our InstallFests 
in case attendees seeking help installing Linux on their machines are getting tripped up 
by it. User incompetence is certainly one possible way to get tripped up, but are you 
seriously trying to argue that volunteers who plan to help attendees install linux should
absolutely *not* try to become knowledgeable about UEFI?
