Agreed, but that was not what was being said. That's in large part due
to a lack of hardware available to do that testing. So far I'm the only
one on this list who's admitted to having this capacity. I haven't
done any testing yet for several reasons:

I don't like Windows 8's UI. I really don't like it and I don't want to
touch it (ha-ha only serious).

I only just late this week got my hands on Windows 8 Enterprise to
actually try out for reals.

I only just this weekend freed up a spare drive that I can use for
testing.

Dealing with Intel RST can be a pain in the ass. The partition table
gets cached in the SSD which Linux doesn't see as a cache.
