[Discuss] Using a good TV as a monitor

I find that even 1080 feels crowded for a vertical resolution. I really
hated it when the industry essentially abandoned 1920x1200 in favor of
1920x1080 for laptop displays.

If I were in the market for a new monitor/hdtv, I'd go for a reasonably
large 4K display. A 55-inch display with a resolution of 3840x2160 would be
a great replacement for the 28-inch 1920x1200 display I currently use.

Amazon currently sells one of these, the Seiki SE55UY04 55-Inch 120Hz LED
4k UHD TV, for $699.
