As linux/unix programmers, many of us have
to deal with zombie processes and,
as Colin Adams has shown in "Zombies and Calculus" [1],
calculus can be useful in dealing with zombies.
</silly>

While I rarely use calculus directly, I find
the concepts of integration and derivatives
useful in some of my computer programming.
However, as others have already pointed out,
calculus does not seem to be necessary
for many types of programming.
