There is the Kerberos screwup that Apple pulled in 10.6 (IIRC) that 
rendered it impossible to use Kerberized applications. MIT IS&T came >< 
close to boycotting Macintosh over it. And I figure the Trustees 
threatened legal action; they're touchy about anyone breaking Kerberos. 
Never mind the Kerberos-related problems in 10.7 that came with Apple's 
switch from MIT Kerberos to Heimdal.

There's the WiFi botch job in 10.10 and the 10.10.1 update that 
supposedly fixed it failing to fix it:

That's just a few of the problems that I've had to deal with either for 
myself or supporting users at MIT. The proof is in the pudding, as they 
say, and Apple's pudding has rocks in it.
