[Discuss] Fedora 28 Doesn't See External DVD Drive on USB Port

Hello, all.

Charles, Fedora 28 was installed fresh; Ubuntu had been on the system
previously.

I ran the lsusb command first before connecting the DVD drive and again
after. The list of devices did not change.

Here is the output of the two commands:
