[HH] Futurama uses 3D printing?

  Matt Groening and David X. Cohen, the creators of Futurama, apparently
  have a Makerbot in their office running all day every day. No word yet
  on if they'll be getting even further into open-source hardware, but
  who knows? Maybe one day we'll see a 6502-powered BenderBoard
  (Raspberry Fry?)

(See link for video interview. Not that much to it, but they do show a
few models of Futurama characters, and say that have a Kinect hacked to
work as a 3D scanner.)
