[HH] the search for the maximum desktop display (make it the desk?)

I saw a demo by a guy who built an entire capacitive display, not just
Linuxifying existing product, at SFO17 but I can't seem to find his
instructable. Worse, I can't seem to find his elevator pitch although you
can see it briefly at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8YG9JMNDuc if you
look to the far right of the vid... give me a day or 2, I will dig it up.
