Boston User Groups, Inc.<http://www.bostonusergroups.org/> is getting ready to launch our new portal site for technical community leaders. This new portal will allow leaders to easily find topic speakers, sponsors, and venues in their area. If you would like to be included in these listings, please contact me directly and send as much information as possible.

For example, if you're interested in speaking, include some sample topics, intended audiences (it-pro, developers, etc.)speaker bio, and photo. If you're interested in hosting user group meetings in your facility, include an address. If you're interested in sponsoring, please include what level of sponsorship (i.e. event sponsorship, pizza for meetings, etc).

If you are interested in speaking, please keep in mind that groups typically prefer speaking topics with informative takeaways... not just a sales pitch or walk through. For example, instead of simply showing what your product can do, teach the audience what they should be looking for in a product.

In any case, make sure to include a description and company logo and/or graphic you want presented. Make sure to include contact info, so the leaders can contact you for further details and to schedule.
