Donations are optional, and our expenses have historically been very
small. Mostly just domain renewals, server hardware replacements, and
the occasional camcorder or webcam.

I imagine that doing anoccasional Installfest without collecting
donations shouldn't be a hardship for us. Jerry, what are your
thoughts on this matter?

As for dates: as I mentioned in an email earlier this evening, we've
confirmed an Installfest in Natick on Feb 10, and we were thinking of
holding 6 Installfests in 2018, alternating between driver-friendly
and MBTA-friendly locations, so that would ideally mean something like
Feb, Apr, Jun, Aug, Oct, and Dec.

I'd like to try out both the MIT Flea and the Watertown Maker Space
options, one of them in the April timeframe and the other in the June
timeframe. I want to hear what everyone else thinks of this.

Bil Ricker was looking into the MIT Flea option, and last I heard, the
MIT Flea had not yet published their schedule.
