Boston Linux & UNIX was originally founded in 1994 as part of The Boston Computer Society. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Building E51.

David Kramer discusses X10 and other home automation tools


David Kramer will talk about several systems for home automation and security. X10 systems will be covered, as well as infrared control of home A/V equipment. A combination of software written by David and open source programs will be used.


David Kramer is a veteran UNIX/Linux Software Engineer, BLU presenter, and SysAdmin.
