Boston Linux & UNIX was originally founded in 1994 as part of The Boston Computer Society. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, in Building E51.

Eliot's interests span from astrophysics to bacteriophages; high-performance computers to small spherical magnets. He's been an avid Linux geek (with a focus on HPC) for more than a decade. He works as Microway's Vice President of Strategic Accounts and HPC Initiatives.
