Bob Frankston

Bob discusses home automation and why he dislikes the term

Bob discusses the evolution of his home automation efforts, from the 1990s to today, including various technologies and protocols he employed along the way.

This is not just generic home automation, but it is also about connectivity and how Bob's home works and does not work whether Bob is at home or anywhere else in the world.

Bob Frankston is probably best known as co-creator of the original spreadsheet application, VisiCalc. His detailed bio is at []
