• Usually, open source tools aren't considered at larger installations, for a few reasons:

  • Limited professional support
  • No concept of user views
  • Scalability problems
  • Performance problems
  • Distribution problems
  • Mandate non-standard enterprise platforms (Linux)
  • Management concerns with open source in general
