Linux & Unix Group - Volunteer meeting

The February meeting of the Linux & Unix Group is on Wednesday, February
15, at M.I.T. Building 66 Room 154 at 7 PM (the usual place and time).

We're having a Volunteer meeting a week before, on Wednesday, February 8,
at 7:00 PM. Everyone who's interested is invited to attend. The volunteer
meeting will be held at the offices of Pioneer Global Telecommunications
in Boston, across the street from the Prudential Center shopping complex.
The address is 811 Boylston Street; the entrance is almost immediately to
the right of a Kopy Kop.

If you're driving, you can park at the Prudential Center, and get your
receipt stamped at the Food Court. This gives you three free hours
of parking, at least in the late evening (past 6:30 PM). If you take the
MBTA, you can get off at the Back Bay station on the Orange Line, and
take the escalator up to the mall. Either way, you'd exit to Boylston
Street.

We still need to decide what we'll be doing at MegaMeeting in April.
Ideas raised so far include deploying kiosks for Megameeting information,
demonstrating a Linux system as a "Web-server-in-a-box" and a
"PPP/SLIP-server-in-a-box", and possibly doing several seminars on Linux
and Unix topics. We should be preparing these things this month;
otherwise, the Megameeting will be upon us before we're ready.
