>I'm considering installing a second Western Digital 210mg hard drive on >my Gateway 2000. If I decide to put Linux on it, can I boot Linux from a >floppy disk? Or will I have to install LILO? You can always boot Linux directly from a floppy. Because my family uses DOS/Windows, I boot linux using the Slackware load linux DOS executable so that the rest of my family does not use Linux, and LILO is a bit intimidating for them. Jerry Feldman
