MegaMeeting, the major annual BCS event, is coming up on Saturday and Sunday, April 1 and 2. We can use help on Friday, March 31, to set up the booths for the Linux & Unix User Group, and the WebMasters team. The two groups will have booths in the BCS Pavilion, where we'll be demonstrating various Linux applications and some non-Linux Web tools and servers. We also plan on setting up some standalone web servers to act as information kiosks on Megameeting and BCS. We'll be needing lots of volunteers, both to prepare for the demos and to hang out at our booth and show off our stuff to interested passersby. A few of us have been meeting periodically at the BCS office in Waltham; we could use a lot more help, to make our presence at Megameeting successful. Anyone interested in volunteering can email me at jabr at bcs.org. Thanks. -- John Abreau / Director, BCS Linux & Unix User Group / jabr at bcs.org The Boston Computer Society / 101 First Avenue / Waltham, MA 02154 Voice +1 617 290 5700 / Fax +1 617 290 5744 / http://www.bcs.org
