Everyone there was enthusiastic about it, and we'd hoped to firm up plans within a week or two, so we'd have some substantial plans to announce at the June meeting. We had a number of people volunteer to manage several aspects of the event. The fellow who I thought volunteered to find a location for the barbeque had scribbled down his name an email address on the attendance list, and I was unable to decypher it to contact him. So as of now, we have no location defined. I thank Robert Luoma for reminding me to follow up on the plans; we do need a volunteer to find a good spot for the event, and to contact the right people to get permission. -- John Abreau / Director, BCS Linux & Unix User Group / jabr at bcs.org The Boston Computer Society / 101 First Avenue, Suite 2 / Waltham, MA 02154 Voice +1 617 290 5700 / Fax +1 617 290 5744 / http://www.bcs.org
