Hi all. Just a word of thanks to all those who responded to my query on QIC-150 tape support. Last night I re-ran "make config" and specified scsi tape and disk (I have one of these too) support. Then I ran "make dep", "make clean" and "make zImage". Reinstalled lilo and shut the system down. I rebooted the new kernel and the tape drive worked (no sweat...). However I found that there must be a tape loaded in the drive or the kernel won't "see" it. It's working fine now... Thanks again...Chuck
