I understand that I have to unmix my top four SIMMs, using either
80s, which the motherboard came with, or 70s.

P.S.:  I booted a half dozen times in succession, up to the point
of inserting the root disk.  About half the time I got a message
indicating RAM a problem just before the line indicating the hard
drive partitions.
