Hello,
I just recently got the Red Hat version of Linux running on my
system and I wanted to install Inn on it, so I go the copy off the CD
that had the binaries. I assumed that all I would have to do is change
a few configuration files and it would work, but I have been having
some problems with it. When I run the rc.news file it just sits for a
second and then comes back to the prompt and I belive nothing is
accutal done besides wait a few seconds to do something that I don't
know. I did a ps -aux and found nothing of the sort related to INN. Is
their a better version inn already compiled (for linux?) or and I
better off going out and getting a uncompile version for linux? If you
want to know what version it is the login screen says the following
Red Hat Commercial Linux - Mother's Day Release
Kernel 1.2.8 on a i486
Thank you very much!
