I have a machine working ok with Slackware about a year old. No troubles installing that back then. I have downloaded RHCL 2.1. The kernel boots ok, but after the first ramdisk has been munched on for a minute or so I get this series of errors: child xxxx died with code ff00 where the number xxxx increases and the messages scroll up the screen as fast as the machine can scroll... It gets to 4 or 5 thousand pretty quickly. The image I used was 29, but 28 does it too. I have a "Datastore" 486-50 Eisa, 12MB, Buslogic Eisa SCSI card, and a ~500 MB disk & Archive 150MB tape. The CD is a Lasermate @ 0x310. The video is a Mach32 card w/ busmouse port. Kinda bummed out after getting hopes up... MEG port. Matthew E.
