From: Robert Luoma <luoma at capybara.pn.com> At present, I receive my email via uucp, but I would like to know how to keep the "Reply-to:" intact (I want to force an internet address without sendmail munging it). So, what do I do? Generally, the mail headers are munged by the sending machine into what it thinks will be able to get back to it from the receiving machine. (This is clearly a design flaw, since only the receiving machine really knows that.) So, ideally, you should have the sendmail on the machine that is sending you the mail fixed. Lotsa luck. In practice, you can have the sendmail on your machine un-mung the incoming addresses. Though, like all sendmail hacking, this is rather hairy. You can start with the O'Reilly book on sendmail, or you could hire me to work on it for you :-). Dale -- Dale R.
