Request for assistance

   I'm trying to install XFree86 on an old AST Advantage! NB notebook
computer and the only information I have been able to get about its video
is the following:
      Chips and Technologies 65535 chipset on the motherboard, with 512k
      of 70ns ram;
      CCFT (whatever that means) edgelit mono 9.5" diagonal display, whose
      maximum resolution is 640x480 in 64 grayscale, 80 columns by 25 lines.
   Any help you can give will be appreciated.
