Topics: Sifting out information on the web The massive amount of information available on the Internet can be very intimidating. The New Hampshire _ ISIG will be presenting different ways to effectively *Search* & sift out information on the World-Wide-Web with the objective of getting the information quickly and more accurately. Discussion will cover topics such as ** Cyberwise software will help us show how: " to connect to it???" " the Internet works " " many different areas are there to the Internet???" And& *** Online w/Netscape, Internet Explorer and Win95: " What does OnLine (with all these databases out there???") mean {*Types of Online services*:} Online-Commercial {AOL, Compuserve, etc...} Online-Public {ISP's, National ISP's, etc...} Online-Private {Corporate America, Adult, etc...} As well as: Education facilities Medical Research Institute's Public Contracts Information You get the idea since there is really more information out there than you really want to know about most topics anyway. With the Internet we would like to show you how to make outlines for searching out information Online.
