BOSTON COLLEGE CHESTNUT HILL, MASSACHUSETTS 02167-3813 UNIVERSITY AUDIOVISUAL SERVICES CAMPION HALL - ROOM G-36 (617) 552-4500 FAX (617) 552-2174 ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR (Multimedia Project Manager) S E A R C H The University Audiovisual Services Department of Boston College is seeking the talent of a team-oriented Associate Director (Multimedia Project Manager) to supervise the daily operations of its nine division department. Primary responsibilities include the strategic planning, direction, and implementation of multimedia projects utilizing digital audio techniques, computer graphics, digital videography, and digital photography. Additional responsibilities include the administration of customer support services adopting T.Q.M. techniques, and the implementation and operation of AV multimedia and Web Page productions. An M.A. in Instructional Technology, Computer Science or related field is preferred. Multimedia/CD-ROM production experience is also strongly desired. Proficiency using Micro-Mind Director, Photoshop, HTML and other multimedia production software is preferred. Additionally, knowledge of the Avid 4000 Digital Video Editing System and the Digi-Design Audio Editing System is helpful. Excellent written, oral, interpersonal, and organizational skills are a must. This position requires a minimum of 5-6 years of strong supervisory experience as well as a minimum of 5-6 years proficiency in at least three of the following areas: Multimedia Production, Computer Science, Instructional Design and Development, and Audio Engineering.
