Hello Mark,

Thanks for the note. I have received some replies on my call for
assistance. I tried all that was recommended, but to no avail. I tried
Slackware again, and got it to function Ok.

I am in the process of trying the RED HAT again, with a small MSDos
partition of 16 Meg, to see if it will take Ok. If it does, then I will
again attempt and wipe out the Dos partition, and completely re-install RED
HAT again. Now that it has stumped me, I want to, but it still won't work.
Looks like I am going to go back and re-install SLACKWARE. It didn't work
again :(

Hey you shouldn't have any problems if John (Jabr) and Phil (Malloy) are
going to be there. About 18 months ago they undertook the install of
SLACKWARE on a 386SX/25 machine, with 5 Meg RAM, and a 107 Meg Hard Drive,
and no CD-Rom. It put them to the challenge, but it was accomplished.
Good luck with the Install-a-Fest, wish I could attend more than ever, with
these problems. Would of been a good one to put your team through the
paces on.

					Take care,
					    Barry...
