My thanks go out to Mark and Derek for their suggestions for my little problem. I should have been more clear in my original message that this Digital Multia is based on an Intel architecture with a pentium P-100. The problem is that after I load the second install disk and run the script I am presented with about five drivers for an ethernet card, none of which mention "tulip" or "21040". Fearing nothing, I have tried all of them (Autoprobing -- without specifying additional options, because I am unsure what they might be) but the drivers fail to recognize the card as I am using them. Perhaps these drivers will work if I give them the right parameters? If not, I am unsure how to get an ftp install to fly if I need to modify the install disks. I am, eh, a little at odds with the NT administrator (we have 30 Multias running NT), because he is worried people might like linux better than NT if my demo succeeds, so it has been difficult to get base and interrupt information out of him -- also, I suspect he does not know ;-). Any ideas? I have not gathered any useful information from Digital's web server so far, but there is always tomorrow...(one hopes). On Mar 14, 2:02am, Mark J.
