Topic: EM86 - Running Linux/x86 Binaries on Linux/Alpha
Speaker: Jim Paradis
Location: MIT Building 1-390
---------
Jim Paradis of Digital Equipment Corporation returns to demonstrate EM86,
a Linux/x86 emulator for Linux/Alpha. EM86 gives Linux/Alpha users
access to all of the Intel Linux software that has not yet been ported
to Linux/Alpha -- software such as Netscape Navigator, Applix OfficeSuite,
Caldera WABI, and StarOffice, to name a few.
