Hi. I running Gaussian on a linux PC. Gaussian sometimes needs to create scratch files bigger than 1GB, my scratch space is 3GB. The filesize limit in the shell that I'm using (tcsh) is 1GB. Can someone explain to me please how I can increase the filesize limit so the program will be able to open a file bigger than 1GB. Thanks a lot in advance. Henry J.
