Howdy, last night I mentioned a GUI ppp dialer to some individuals but I couldn't think ot the name. Well, here it is as well as the html link: xisp : http://users.hol.gr/~dbouras/ Give it a try and let me know what you think. As I mentioned last night, my next project will be to port xplink (my TclTK based GUI) to perl/gtk. Also, I posted my TclTK shutdown script on my web site as well. Lastly, I entirely failed to mention what modifications one can make to the Xresources file in /usr/lib/X11/xdm. The most obvious changes are the fonts and geometry. One way to decern what resouce variables a program has (SINCE THEY'RE NOT ALL LISTED IN THE MAN PAGE!@#!) is to run the binary through `strings`: >strings /usr/X11/bin/xdm That's how I determined every possible font variable for xdm in Xresources. If you have any questions or comments, please email me at linuxguy at ici.net Anyway, thanks to everyone for coming and participating last night. Remember, if you have any requested topics for futrue meetings, please speak up! - Christoph *** Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with subject of "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" to discuss-request at blu.org
