| I went with the Ousterhout book. | | I've also heard that "Practical Tcl/tk" (or something like that) is good. I'd second both of those. The author of the latter is named Welch (I think the first name is Brant, but I don't have the book handy). Both of these books are good for experienced programmers, though; I don't think I'd recommend either to a novice.
