Um. Could be out of luck if they've been there long enough.  You 
wouldn't be able to dispute it unless you've used "linuxguy" exclusively
for (I think) 5 years and registered it as a trademark or service mark.
But it cuts both ways--unless a defensible trademark/service mark owner
challenges your use, just be "linuxguy" all you like.
