SRPMS are Source RPMS... They wouldn't install like a regular RPM. xfig is definitely a regular rpm (xfig-3.2.2-1.i386.rpm on the RedHat 5.2 CD) > I have an application-- xfig -- which I downloaded off of Redhat's SRPMS > ftp site, but which appears to still need to be installed manually rather > than via an rpm command. Once the file is uncompressed, it has a README > which requires the system to already have the file imake in order to make > its Makefile. None of this seems straightforward, but getting the imake > file is the point at which I get completely stumped. Does anybody know a > specific url where I can get that.
