Hey Mark, I have a Thinkpad 760EL, that runs slackware. I don't have the sound working (I have a friend with the same machine that does), but I do have X working ok. My machine is a P133 with 72MB RAM. At one point I did have RedHat installed for about 1/2 an hour. I couldn't find any of the config files, the distributions were a little different. There is actually a faq for laptops and I think there was one specifically for the stinkpad. http://www.cs.utexas.edu/users/kharker/linux-laptop/ Shel On Thu, Mar 04, 1999 at 11:51:37PM +0000, Mark Spencer wrote: > I have an older IBM Thinkpad 560 - specifically a 2640-50A.
