Right now they have SuSE at $34.95. I also wanted the official SuSE release with the book et. al. I have been recommending SuSE since I installed 6.0 after the last installfest, but I wanted to look at the complete package. I do recommend Cheap Bytes for people who want a distribution on CDs. I mentioned that I had received a Debian Distribution from them, where one of the "Binary 2" CD was actually a duplicate of the "Binary 1". They immediately responded to my email and sent me another "Binary 1". In Debian, the contents of the Binary 2 CD is the non-free tree, which contains libraries and other dependencies needed by some of the commercial packages. All in all, for the price, Cheap Bytes is prety decent. -- Jerry Feldman (HP On-Site Consultant) http://gbrweb.msd.ray.com/~gzf/ +-------------------------------------------------------+-----Note: ------+ | Raytheon Electronic Systems (W) (781)999-1837/1-1837 | My views may not| | Mail Stop: S3SG10 (F) (781)999-3572/1-3572 | reflect the | | 180 Hartwell Road (E) gzf at gbr.msd.ray.com | views of my | | Bedford, MA 01730-2498 (H) gaf at mediaone.net | employer. | +-------------------------------------------------------+-----------------+ - Subcription/unsubscription/info requests: send e-mail with "subscribe", "unsubscribe", or "info" on the first line of the message body to discuss-request at blu.org (Subject line is ignored).
